Wrapping up Women’s History Month, we honor Monique Idlett-Mosley

As we wrap up Women’s History Month we honor Monique Idlett-Mosley, an amazing woman in Gender Lens and Racial Equity Investing. She is a globally recognized entertainment pioneer and Managing Partner of Reign Ventures and we had the honor of having her speak at imvest’s gender equality investing dinner in 2019. Monique shared her views on why it makes sense to invest in gender-diverse teams. Reign Ventures invests in early-stage entrepreneurs and aims to have at least 50% of the portfolio in women-led and/or minority-led companies as an alpha creation strategy. Her cofounder Erica Duignan Minnihan also joined us at our Art Basel impact investing discussion and we are looking forward to the day we can all get together again and brainstorm building a better future in person!

To learn more about our take on systemic racial equality investing, check out our recent piece in the 2nd edition of  Refinitiv’s 2021 ESG Playbook. Refinitiv, an LSEG business is one of the global leaders of financial market data. In this publication, they cover 23 ESG and impact investing trends including imvest’s Trend 14: Systemic Impact Investing in Reduced Inequalities will be a Step Toward Racial Justice.
